Brodospas was founded in 1947. with task to clear Croatian ports, shipyards and sailing routes of numerus navigational obstacles from Second world war. Within more than seventy years on sea Brodospas was establishing the high quality of its activities.

In current changes of economic system in Croatia, Brodospas has been privatised. Number of employees is about 360.
